OPENING TIMES: Tues-Sat, 9am-3pm
Quench Café is our footprint in our local community, and serves as a relaxed and peaceful meeting place for all sections of our community to come for company, friendship, time out and comfort in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
The café is the local distribution point for the Trussel Trust Food Bank and provides physical and spiritual support, in a discrete and confidential manner, to those in distressed circumstances. It is registered as a local “place of safety” for those under extreme stress or distress requiring immediate, active support in a caring environment.
We provide a confidential, listening ear in times of trouble and distress with a commitment to pray for those requesting it.
The café venue serves high quality food and drinks and is staffed mainly by volunteers.
The building as our main church premises serves as our venue for many of our congregational meetings, including our Sunday Morning Service.
In addition to this, any gratuities received in the café are donated to local charities. Since Quench opened in December 2013 over £12,000 has been raised and donated.
